Hello guys!
I hope that you are enjoying all of the pictures and posts that we are putting on the Internet. I really enjoyed today's field trip we took. It was quite the adventure. We got to climb a mountain to get to some sacred rocks that the Aborigines call the grandmothers. We had to take our shoes off because it was really wet and muddy. But we were walking around like they did when they lived on the mountains many years ago. Yesterday we also took another field trip to a part of the Rainforest and walked around. We got to try some of the seeds grown in the rainforest that were red and tasted a little like some type of fruit but they were really small. Keep asking questions we would love to hear from you! Hope you are enjoying the snow! It is raining and 85 degrees here!

G'day Mates...My name is Courtney Bauder and I am leading this group of students to Australia this January. I am very excited because my mother is also coming on the trip with us. I am a teacher at UW Oshkosh and I love to travel. I have been lucky enough to travel all over the world. I have worked with children when I lived and taught in China, Japan, and Germany and have traveled all over Europe, east Africa, southern Asia, and central America, and I love to make friends with people from different cultures. I have never been to Australia before, so I am hoping that you and my students can help me learn about this wonderful place 'Down Under' as I try to teach you some things too.

I grew up in Princeton, Wisconsin. I have two older sisters name Emily and Helena. I also have a cat named Chip. In my free time I enjoy hiking, reading, kayaking, and many other things. Hey I'm Josh. I am 22 years old and a senior at UWO. I am studying Human Services and plan to get my masters to become a high school counselor. This is my first time studying abroad and I know that we are going to have a blast. I love to play soccer, water ski, swim, and play outside all the time. Once I get to Australia I plan on finding a kangaroo and going for a ride in it's pouch :)!!

Hello....I'm Heather Drunasky. I am a 21 year old senior working towards a degree in Liberal Studies. I am also working towards a minor in Women's Studies and Art. I am planning on going to graduate school once I graduate with my undergrad. I am not sure what I want to study in grad school. I know once I am all done with school, I am moving out to New York City. I am extremely excited to be able to take this trip and learn more about a different culture. This will be my first time out of the country without my family. This whole trip will definitely be a learning experience for me.

My name is Jordan I am in Grad School at the U of O. I went to St. Joe's school for fifth grade in the Town of Big Bend WI, small little class of maybe 20. I am 24 years old and have a brother that is 22. He is on this trip with me, his name is Blake. Beach volleyball is my favorite activity, I have played in Japan, Spain, California and so on. I won a State Championship at my High School, Catholic Memorial for volleyball. I have played on Oshkosh Men's team for the past 5 years and have an All-American award and a couple National Championships.
